Case description

Illustration:

Various types of polyolefin material functional film,/sheet such as filler type packing film/sheet, antistatic packing material, transparent PP/PE packing material and etc. Normal producing process is pre-mixing PP/PE polymer resin, masterbatch (filler masterbatch or other functional masterbatch) and processing additives and etc., and then using single screw extruder for melting and homogenized extrusion, and formed by casting/ leaching/coating machine afterwards for various types of final film/sheet product. The above processing method has certain drawbacks:

  1. Directly extruded by single screw extruder for all mixed raw material causing poor compounding and dispersion effect. In addition, it will have effect on mechanical and aging properties to the final product.

  2. Using the compounded masterbatch and filler masterbatch that purchased by manufacturer will cost higher, and the quality of the masterbatch cannot be guaranteed, which leads the final product quality fluctuates.

Regarding the above features, CENMEN developed a one-step processing functional sheet/board compounding extrusion forming production line. Combining twin screw compounding extruder, sheet/board forming system, and casting/ leaching/coating forming devices. Whole production line is fully optimized and automatized. The production line equipment includes:

  1. Automated production process applied on all raw material supplying, mixing, extrusion, and forming systems, operational automation, energy saving and environmental protection.

  2. Compounding effect of twin screw extruder is far more better than that of single screw extruder, various additives are evenly dispersed within the polymer resin, improve the material properties and functional stability of products.

  3. Flexible adjustment for the material formulation and forming devices, reduce cost while ensuring quality stability.

  4. Avoiding the pelletizing and other intermediate links by this one-step processing method. Power consumption for drying of particles and related transportation, storage and labor costs are saved.
