Company's twin screw production equipment used in compounding modified pelletizing has the advantages of high output, high automation and large-scale centralized control:

  1. High output. Twin screw extruder adopts high torque high rotation speed gear box, matched with novel wear-resistance barrel and screw, torque grade 9~11T/A3, the maximum torque grade can reach as high as 15 T/A3.

  2. High degree of automation of complete set of production line. Automation includes material storage and conveying, weighing mixing and metering feeding, compounding and pelletizing, automatic packing, finishing the whole process from material to product granule.

  3. Multiple equipment large-scale and integrated production. The automatic centralized control system is adopted to share capital construction and environmental protection facilities, effectively reduce various production and operation costs (such as raw material procurement and transportation cost, labor cost, equipment procurement, capital construction cost, etc.)


Process description:

Fibers are added to the polymer to increase the rigidity(strength and modulus)of the product. The common polymer resin is PA, PP, and the common fiber is glass fiber, carbon fiber. Common addition ration is 10~50%. The glass fiber is evenly distributed in the resin, and the longer the retention length is, the better the strengthening effect is.

Plastic particles, auxiliaries and powder are fed by loss-in-weight feeder respectively, The precision of proportioning is high, and the phenomenon of classification and bridge construction is avoided. For the simple formulation, the material after evenly premix can be fed into twin screw extruder by volumetic feeder.

The glass fiber is usually added in the middle and rear section of the barrel to avoid too short effective length because of excessive shear. The short cut glass fiber or carbon fiber is added by the side feeder, and the long glass fiber is added directly by the opening through the screw rotation and traction automatically, and the long glass fiber is added continuously.

The common pelletizing mode is water strand pelletizing.
